1. User Accounts and Verification

To access personalized features, purchase eBooks, or access your digital library, you must register for an account. You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Account verification is secured through one-time verification codes sent to your registered email. KnowledgePaat is not responsible for unauthorized activity resulting from shared credentials.

2. Technical eBook Purchases & Digital Licensing

When you purchase a technical publication through our bookstore:

• License Grant: KnowledgePaat grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the purchased digital publication. The scope of your access depends on the edition plan chosen:
  • Online Reading Plan: Full digital reader access in your customer library across all supported devices.
  • Full Edition Plan (Online + PDF): Includes online reader access plus personal PDF download entitlement.
  • PDF Edition Upgrade: Upgrades an existing online reading purchase to include PDF download capabilities.
• Download Security & Watermarking: Downloaded PDF editions are delivered via short-lived, cryptographically signed storage URLs tied to your authenticated customer account. Published assets may contain pre-rendered visual watermarks, license metadata, or cryptographic identifiers to discourage unauthorized distribution. Dynamic real-time byte re-rendering on every download is not guaranteed.
• Restrictions: You may not copy, resell, redistribute, sub-license, rent, broadcast, or publicly display any eBook or portion thereof without prior written consent from KnowledgePaat and the respective copyright owners.

3. Authoritative Pricing, Taxes & Payment Gateway

All prices are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are authoritative as displayed in the checkout summary prior to payment. Transactions are processed through our authorized payment partner, Razorpay. By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking). In the event of pricing discrepancies, the authoritative server-side price prevails.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Digital products and eBooks are delivered immediately upon successful payment confirmation. Our refund policies, entitlement revocation rules, and resolution procedures are detailed in our dedicated Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please review that policy for complete eligibility guidelines.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or extract content from the website.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication safeguards, or DRM access controls.
• Submit misleading, fraudulent, or abusive inquiries through support forms.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform infrastructure.

6. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

The platform and digital publications are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KnowledgePaat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
